We have been vacationing at Carova Beach for years. This was our first trip with our daughter Savannah. Couldn't help but but to take a picture of her on the beach with her sandy snowman.

Our first trip to OBX, we stayed in Duck and were so pleased with Twiddy. This was all of us in back of our rented home, "Windows on the sea". The picture was taken when we had an awesome early evening beach trip!

Abigail, our family beach bum. She loves the water and the sand. Last year she couldn't walk and would crawl into the water and get mad when the waves went out. This year she was running into the water giggling as the waves would crash on her. She isn't afraid of being knocked over by a wave, being the youngest of five makes her tough.

Our family has been coming to the Outer banks since 2000 and since 2003 with Twiddy. The oldest child in this picture was 1 when we first came to the Outer Banks. We have added 4 more children to our family and 2 cousins since we started vacationing here. They all look forward to our beach vacation every year and start counting down almost as soon as we get home! It is the best family vacation spot we could imagine. There is plenty to do or you can just sit on the beach and do nothing.

This was out first trip to the outer banks and we all loved it. We hope to make this trip a yearly tradition. Our girls enjoyed the ocean and collecting seashells. Thank you for making our experience that much more enjoyable.

We loved being up on the 4x4 beach. This particular day we came home from a day at the beach and there were a family of horses in our yard. Couldn't help taking a picture of the girls with the horses. We saw horses everyday in and around the house we rented. It was wonderful!!

The Sand Break was the best rental home ever for 28 guests! Great home with everything we could image at our fingertips. This picture shows the spot on the shore just waiting for one of our group and has the Sand Break rental in the background. What a great Twiddy vacation!

This is our first trip up on a 4x4 beach. We brought our new puppy, Hudson, with us and my husband loved taking him down to the beach early in the morning for a walk and some fishing. Our family spent the week beaching it, cooking lots of seafood, and playing games. It was a very relaxing vacation and our house was wonderful!

This is strange as it is of the people that were next door to us when we were there June 13 - 19,2009. We were in GOL 38 3 Buoys (Loved it!) and they were in GOL 39. I took this picture while we were at the beach and I showed it to the woman in the picture and was going to send it to here but didn't get her email. I don't know their name but they were there the same week as us. I think it's a great shot I just took at the spur of the moment, I feel it show the love of each other. Not sure if she was kissing the little girl (her daughter, I think)or saying something in her ear either way I think the expression on the little girls face says it all.
