Fishing
The Outer Banks is truly a sport fisherman’s paradise and is suitably known as "The Billfish Capital of the World". Memories of a charter boat trip to the Gulfstream would stay with you forever; however, you don’t need a charter boat and 4:30 a.m. departure time to have some fishing fun. Options include surf and pier fishing, freshwater, fly and sound fishing, and inshore charter fishing. Marlin, dolphin (the fish), wahoo, grouper and tuna are caught throughout the summer months.
